This year, we were not sure if we could even field a team. We kept losing players and finally we came together and were able to play. Then … we were told that we had to play up in the A1 Division, and more players’ left and we had to recruit younger members to allow us to play. Eventually, we won the appeal and were placed into the A2 Division.

We had a pretty good season where we played hard, and we had wins and losses.

The last three games you played were the best games I have seen from all of you this season. You really played as a team and were able to bounce off one another and this lead you to the Grand Final.

The Grand Final … What a game that was!! To see you make a comeback was awesome to finish under by two goals – I even got out of my seat in those final moments. It was exciting netball.

Thanks girls for another great season of netball. I really hope that you have taken something away this year and I look forward to seeing you back in 2020.
