GRAND FINAL WINNERS

What a year we have had. This was the first year we have all played together, with some of the year coming back to netball after many years off. We started off very slowly, losing the first couple of games. But we were quick to turn that around and had some great wins. 

It wouldn’t be a game of netball without injuries and our team had their fair share of them. The team played with 7 most weeks throughout the season due to injuries but we managed to pull through right until Grand Final day.

We were lucky enough for Hawkesbury to split out division in half. Which meant that we finished Minor Premiers in C2 Maroon. Semi Final day we played against Sullair. It was a close game for the entire 60 minutes which led into extra time. We smashed it and took the win by 10 goals, going straight into the Grand Final. We played Poppets in the Grand Final, again being a very close game. We went into extra time again and it was close for the entire extra time. We took it away in the last few minutes of extra time to win by 3 goals.
