Intermediate Three

Thank you to Amba our team manager, and also my beautiful wife Sara for all your help over the course of the year. Special mention to Kristy Dust also for scoring each week.

To the parents, thank you for bringing your girls each week to training and also for your support all year. I have coached in all different sports at different levels and I must say you guys have been the best parents I’ve had to deal with in regards to being on board with all my decisions and not complaining once about your child in any way. 

Now to the fun part, I’ve never coached Netball and I knew it was going to be something challenging, but we as a playing group set ourselves some goals. Our Main goal was to compete at the best of our ability week in and week out and the girls definitely did this by finishing Minor Premiers. Their next goal was to make it to the grand final, something that these girls really wanted and with their hard work they made it to the big one, unfortunately they fell short against a hungry team. Everyone who knows this team knows how hard they fought all year round and to be crowned runners up is a huge achievement and I’m so proud of all of them and it’s something very special that we can share together.

The main reason these girls were successful this year is the bond they have for each other, they are all like sisters to one another and that is certainly something Sara worked hard on over the previous 2 years which made my job easier and I’m thankful for that.

Girls well done, and I want to thank you for teaching me things along the way as well, I hope you all enjoyed the year as much as I did and you are ALL CHAMPIONS IN MY EYES. You all did the club proud
